LCD Photoshop Tutorial
Part 1: The LCD
Part 2: The Tubes
Part 2: The Tubes
1)Make a New Layer and grab your "Paintbrush" tool. Zoom in 200% if you havent already and choose the
width of the brush to be 9px. Draw a line like in the picture below(Note: LCD is already near the top, if
yours isnt dont worry, just make it like mine and we can move it later).
2)Now to make it come to life by goin to Layer/Layer Style/Bevel and Emboss. Inner Bevel/Smooth/Depth
100%/Direction:UP/Size: 5px/Gloss Contour: Linear.--anything else will make it have incorrect
highlights/shading.
3)Take the Eliptical Marquee tool--the one you use to make circles, ect..and make a slim disc along the
tube--this will be the connection point to the lcd monitor..make as many as you like until its how you
like it, for each one you will have to Bevel and Emboss it. Choose whatever Gloss Contour makes it look
right to you, but be consistant.
4)Once you are satisfied with the connection points, move the Tube layer and the Discs Layer under the
LCD layer.
