Photoshop Luminous Tutorial
Open up a new document. 600X600 or any other size will do. First thing you do is got to Filter> Render> 3D Transform. 
Now a box will pop-up and need to select either the circle or cube, (they are the first two circled) and once you select one of them you sort of draw with it in the big box on the right. Now make a lot of shapes and once you are satisfied click on the 4th circled object and then click on your image dont let go, move you mouse and your image will too. Once you are done click okay.
Now you will have something like this:
Now go to Filter> Distort> Shear and a window will pop-up that looks like this:
Now click on the circled stick thing and move it around with your mouse until you get something like this: 
Now go to Image> Adjust> Hue/Saturation and a window will pop-up. And the right corner of the window make sure you have colorized selected and then play around with it until you are satisfied with the colors, then click okay. Now duplicate the layer and colorize this a different color. Then go to Layer> Layer Style> Blending Options and another window will pop-up. Choose color burn if you want and then click okay. Now got to Edit> Transform> Rotate 90 CW. And it should look something like this: 
Make sure you still have layer 1 copy selected and go to Filter> Distort> Twirl. Play around with it and then click okay. Now got to Layer> Layer Style> Blending Options again and select darken or something else if you wish.
Now keep duplicating the layers, twirling, shearing, and colorzing. When you have about 5 differnt layers play around with the Blending options. I made these:
